Brittany - Graduation

I’ve known Brittany since she was 3, babysat her since she was 5, and danced with her until I graduated high school. Not only that, but my high school job allowed me to work alongside her grandma and her mom! So, when Brittany asked me to capture her graduation I couldn’t have been more excited. We spent a few months chatting back and forth planning her special day.

Brittany knew she wanted to include a few things in her shoot: a champagne pop, a photo of her and her dad, and her pointe shoes. I wanted to ensure we got some stellar sunset shots. We combined our ideas and got to work.

One July evening, Brittany got dressed up and we began shooting. We started around 5:00 and ended up shooting until 8:30 (MUCH longer than my normal session times, but sometimes you gotta get the shot). We had an evening full of laughs AND produced one of my favourite graduation galleries to date. I hope you enjoy these highlights as much as I do.
